Mykhaylo Mudryk decides to transfer to Chelsea, according to reports.
According to Football Insider, Mykhaylo Mudryk may seek a move away from Chelsea in order to revive his career.
The Premier League heavyweights are now willing to let him depart during the January transfer window after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
The addition of Jadon Sancho has resulted in little playing time for the Ukraine international, as the former Manchester United star has been promoted to the starting lineup.
Football Insider earlier stated that it will be “difficult” for the 23-year-old to improve his fortunes at Chelsea.
Mudryk has struggled to establish himself in England since joining the club in 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Blues signed the winger to a seven-year contract that does not expire until 2031.
Chelsea might cash in on Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk has had little playing time with the Blues this season, appearing in only 61 minutes of the first five Premier League games.
This season, the winger has provided two assists for the team, one against Servette in the Conference League Qualifying match and the other against Barrow in the EFL Cup.
Last season, Mudryk made 41 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring seven goals and assisting twice.
Enzo Marseca’s side is presently sixth in the Premier League table, following a solid start to the season.
The Blues return to action against Brighton on Saturday (September 28).
