Newcastle United transfer: Winger Amadou Diallo is seeking for a new team this summer.
Amadou Diallo, a Newcastle United winger, is out of contract at the end of this month.

The 21-year-old joined Newcastle from West Ham United in 2022 and has made one competitive first-team appearance for the club, coming off the bench in a 4-1 victory over Chelsea in November 2023. Diallo also accompanied the Newcastle first team to Australia, where he played in friendly matches against Tottenham Hotspur and the A-League All Stars.

But once it was revealed that he would not be handed a new contract at Newcastle, the winger is looking for a new club ahead of the 2024-25 season. The Gazette understands Diallo is currently considering his next step, including a relocation abroad.

Meanwhile, Diallo has posted photos of himself training in East London at the Newham Powerleague in Barking.

Diallo was exercising in Newcastle Castore shorts and Divin Mubama’s West Ham shirt, which he had previously worn in the Hammers academy. Mubamba appeared 12 times for West Ham United’s first team in the 2023-24 season.

“My time at @nufc has come to an end,” the former England Under-17 international tweeted. “First and foremost, I’d like to thank the club for the fantastic opportunity to play for them.

“I would also like to give a massive thank you to the fans for their support as I really enjoyed representing the club.”

Diallo is one of several Newcastle youngsters that have left the club this summer. Jude Smith has recently signed for Carlisle United after being released by Newcastle, while Dylan Stephenson has joined Dagenham & Redbridge.
