Everton will do whatever it takes to keep Jarrad Branthwaite following Manchester United deal update.

Everton will do “whatever it takes” to keep Jarrad Branthwaite this summer, despite interest from Manchester United, according to Kaveh Solhekol.

The Sky Sports journalist said on Friday (14 June) that the Blues value the centre-back at more over £70 million this summer and will only let him leave Goodison Park if the asking price is fulfilled.

According to reports, the Red Devils have already accepted personal terms with the defender’s representation [The Times, 13 June], but the two teams have yet to strike an agreement.

Solhekol told Sky Sports News that Manchester United want to sign Branthwaite, which has been widely reported in recent months, but they are particularly eager to do so right now.

“I believe the only issue will be the price, since Everton value him at at least £70 million. “I understand Everton have financial problems at the moment, but they will do whatever it takes to hold onto the player and if they do let him go, they will make sure they get every penny of what they think he’s worth.”
