Marc Cucurella has been picked to Spain’s roster for the 2024 UEFA Euro.
On Friday, La Roja, three-time Euros winners, announced their finalised 26-player lineup for the tournament.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has named Cucurella as one of eight defenders for the finals, which begin one week today.
Cucurella has three senior caps for Spain and was a member of the under-23 team that won silver at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. He was also a member of the squad that reached the semi-finals at the 2021 Under-21 European Championship.
Spain’s quest to become the first team to win the championship for the fourth time begins in Group B, where they will meet Italy, Albania, and Croatia on Saturday, June 15.
The top two from each group, together with the four best runners-up, advance to the round of 16, with the goal of winning the final on Sunday, July 14.
