Celtic have ‘accepted’ Dominik Livakovic’s move offer as Jose Mourinho green lights leave
The Fenerbahce shot-stopper appears to be on the move as the Scottish champions seek to replace Joe Hart.
According to reports, Celtic’s offer for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic has been approved.
The Premiership champions are in desperate need of a new No. 1 after Joe Hart retired following the Scottish Cup Final triumph over Rangers. According to sources from Turkey, Brendan Rodgers is finally set to bolster the vital position. Livakovic is now at Euro 2024 with Croatia, but his Fenerbahce future now appears to be set, with Fotomac saying that the shot-stopper notified the club he wants to leave at the end of the title-winning campaign – just a year after leaving Dinamo Zagreb for the Turkish giants.
Celtic have reportedly accepted a €9 million (£7.6 million) bid, with Jose Mourinho’s side claiming to have already lined up a replacement. Mattia Perin has signed a €3 million “agreement in principle” with Juventus to join the team next season.
