Chelsea flop in comparison to Vinicius Junior amid exit rumors, as former coach delivers damning verdict.
Ukrainian coach Yuriy Benyo believes Mykhailo Mudryk’s time at Chelsea may be coming to an end, comparing the 23-year-old to Vinicius Junior.
It’s safe to say that Mudryk’s big move to Stamford Bridge has not gone as planned so far. The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in January 2023 for a fee of up to £89 million with add-ons.
Ben White’s future in England remains uncertain, confirms Carsley.
Ben White’s Continued Absence From England
Ben White, Arsenal’s versatile defender, has expressed no desire to return to the England squad, according to interim manager Lee Carsley. White has been away from the national team since leaving the 2022 World Cup camp, citing “personal reasons.” Despite excelling at right-back for Arsenal, his commitment to representing England remains unchanged.

Since joining the Premier League club, the Ukrainian star has struggled to justify his high price tag, scoring just seven goals in 62 appearances.
Former Shakhtar Donetsk assistant manager Benyo has compared Mudryk’s lack of defensive awareness to Real Madrid’s Vinicius.
“Mudryk is like Vinicius from Real Madrid. “He also doesn’t work as hard on defense,” Benyo told Tribuna.
While Mudryk has struggled to show his best form at Chelsea, Benyo believes the ‘constant rotation’ of coaches has not helped him.
He is in such a predicament that he cannot even leave. There is a constant rotation of coaches.
“Every coach who comes sees his talent and tries to use it, but when it comes to the game, his weak points become apparent: playing without the ball, on defense, and in pressing.
“If there is a coach who will work at Chelsea for at least two years and does not rely on Mudryk, it is better to leave. Every coach offers him a chance. It’s just that he’s at the age where he needs to play.
Chelsea is open to selling Mudryk.
It’s safe to say that Chelsea aren’t lacking in attacking options right now, and according to GIVEMESPORT, there is a ‘acceptance’ at
Chelsea are reportedly ‘open’ to selling the former Shakhtar Donetsk player if his form does not improve in the coming months before the January transfer window opens.
So far this season, the 23-year-old winger has appeared in four games across all competitions, but his spot in the starting lineup is far from guaranteed.
He has only started one Premier League match under Enzo Maresca, and he was substituted at half-time after an underwhelming performance.
While his contract at Stamford Bridge is still valid until 2031, Chelsea may be willing to cut their losses in the near future.
What Maresca said about Mudryk
The new Chelsea manager is not afraid to make changes when things aren’t going as planned. That was the case during Chelsea’s 6-2 victory over Wolves, when Maresca quickly replaced Mudryk at halftime.
When asked why he took the Ukrainian star off after only 45 minutes, Maresca replied: “Because I was unhappy.
“In some cases, we can handle situations more effectively. He worked hard off the ball, but I expect Misha to be more consistent on the ball.
“He had some good moments today but the reason why was to change it and give Pedro some minutes.”
Since joining Chelsea, Mudryk has only been involved in 12 goals, scoring seven and assisting five in all competitions.

Other Chelsea departures are on the cards.
Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana is set to join Turkish club Goztepe SK after his transfer to AEK Athens fell through on Wednesday.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement will include the option for Goztepe to purchase Fofana on a permanent basis, though Chelsea will have the option to recall him in January if they so desire.
The striker spent last season on loan with Union Berlin and Burnley, scoring six goals in 32 appearances.
Carney Chukwuemeka, who has made no appearances for Chelsea this season, has also been linked with an exit.
The 20-year-old midfielder is a member of the club’s ‘bomb squad’ and has been barred from first-team training under Maresca.
While Galatasaray is interested in signing him on a short-term deal before the Turkish transfer window closes, Chelsea is only interested in a permanent sale and does not want to loan him out.
This could put the midfielder in an awkward situation, especially if a suitable buyer isn’t found before the Turkish transfer window closes this Friday.
