The player ratings from Chelsea’s thrilling Premier League victory over Bournemouth.
Christopher Nkunku scored the winner off the bench as Chelsea won their second away game of the season in dramatic fashion. Bournemouth looked good in the first half and played well for the majority of the game.

The host missed a penalty and returned to hunt them when Nkunku came on for the wasteful. Nicolas Jackson turned two players before finishing brilliantly to give Chelsea the lead and, eventually, the victory.

In what was an important win, here is how we rated the Chelsea players available:

Robert Sanchez – 8

Left high and dry for the penalty, I’m lucky not to be sent off. Then made a fantastic save to keep Chelsea level in the first half. The Chelsea player put on an impressive performance.

Axel Disasi – 5

He appeared edgy and uncomfortable after being forced into the right-back position.

Marc Cucurella – 6

Despite the pressure from Bournemouth, the defence performed admirably.

Wesley Fofana – 5

Very fortunate after his sloppy back pass resulted in a penalty. Sanchez saved him. Then he moved to right-back.

Levi Colwill – 6

Possessed energy and tenacity. After setting up Jackson for a brilliant goal-scoring opportunity, he should have received an assist.

Moises Caicedo – 7

Aggressive and solid in tackles, but his passing could have been more precise. Did an excellent job covering the entire game.

Renato Veiga – 6

After being assigned to midfield, he appeared to be very comfortable on the ball.

Cole Palmer – 6

He seemed to be fighting for his life in the first half. In the second half, the ball was given away sloppily.

Neto – 4

Didn’t get started and was hooked by halftime.

Mostly received the ball with his back to the goal. I had a few shots that went wide. A quiet game for the well-prepared man.

Nicolas Jackson – 6

Levi Colwill set me up for a fantastic opportunity, but I blew it. He worked hard and got himself into important positions.

Jadon Sancho – 6

He appeared dangerous when he came on. Created a few chances, but could have done better defensively.

Joao Felix – 5

Bright and had a few touches here and there, but nothing more.

Tosin Adarabioyo — 5

Added calm and presence to the Chelsea defense.

Christopher Nkunku – 7

Chelsea took the lead thanks to a brilliant goal.
