Everton looking at Aster Vranckx.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Everton are interested in signing Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx during the summer transfer window.

The 2002-born is now competing for Belgium in the Euros and was an unused replacement in their 1-0 loss to Slovakia.

Vranckx’s contract expires next year, so the Bundesliga club may be obliged to let him leave cheaply to avoid losing him for free.

The Toffees face competition for his signature, with Serie A clubs Napoli and Fiorentina keeping an eye on his position.

Aster Vranckx’s statistics
Vranckx can play in a variety of roles, including holding midfield, box-to-box, and number 10.

Some of the 21-year-old’s FBref statistics are particularly outstanding, as he ranks in the top 12% for progressive take-ons per 90 compared to his positional contemporaries around Europe, demonstrating his excellent dribbling abilities.

Furthermore, he is in the top seven percent of clearances, demonstrating his defensive awareness.
