Everton make Roman Dixon contract decision as six players leave Goodison Park.
Everton has declared their decision on the expiring contracts of various youth players for this summer, including the highly touted Roman Dixon, according to the club’s official website.
According to evertonfc.com [4 June], 19-year-old Dixon has been given a new contract at Goodison Park, along with Jacob Beaumont-Clark and Bradley Moonan, who will become his Under-21 colleagues next season if they all agree to terms.
The right-back has been with Finch Farm since the age of 12 and has played for England’s U16 team.
Everton also listed the young professionals who will be leaving.
“Everton can confirm Lewis Warrington, Mackenzie Hunt, Katia Kouyate, Kyle John, Ed Jones and Dylan Graham will leave the club when their current contracts expire at the end of this month,” the statement continued.
“Under-21s defender Roman Dixon, along with Jacob Beaumont-Clark and Bradley Moonan – who are set to move up to Paul Tait’s squad next season – have been offered new deals with the club.”

If Dixon agrees to continue on Merseyside, the next stage might be more regular involvement with Sean Dyche’s first-team squad in pre-season and into the 2024-25 season, and time is on the defender’s side, with two seasons remaining to play regular PL2 games with Tait’s U21s.
Many young players have been placed on the bench and given opportunities at Goodison over the years, and Dixon will know that regular performances for the academy side, as well as a hunger to learn from Coleman, Ashley Young, and Ben Godfrey, will pave the way for a successful future.
