Newcastle United has announced that two talented youth players from the team’s academy have agreed to terms on professional contracts.

Less than a year after joining the club’s academy, Leo Shahar and Trevan Sanusi received professional contracts. Sanusi signed after leaving Birmingham City, and Shahar joined after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer.

Both players represent England at Under-17 level and have broken into Newcastle’s Under-21s side this season.

After agreeing to his first professional contract, right-back Shahar stated on the Newcastle club website: “Watching players like Trippier and Livramento play well for the first team makes me want to thrive and try to get into a similar position that they are in.”

“I want to keep trying to get into that spot because the fans adore those two.” To get there, I’m going to put in as much effort as I can every day on the training field.

Winger Sanusi posted a picture of himself signing a deal on Instagram after it was announced, writing, “Professional contract, we keep working.

“Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo was one of the people who took notice of the picture and left a remark, saying, “Congratulations bro.”

WNRS Sports represents both Adarabioyo and Sanusi, who communicate often on Instagram.

The center defender for Fulham, whose contract is about to expire, has been strongly linked to a summer move to Newcastle. Despite reports of interest from teams including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur, the 26-year-old is reportedly nearing an agreement with the Magpies as a free agent.
