This summer, Emerson Royal, a defender for Tottenham, is being targeted by both Bayern Munich and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr team.

Tottenham is ready for the right-back to be of interest. The 25-year-old is reportedly the target of Bayern Munich this summer, and after missing out in January, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr team is also expected to make another go at the Brazilian. These reports come from the Spanish publication Sport.

Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in Royal as they prepare for Joshua Kimmich’s anticipated summer exit. According to Sport, Spurs have set a price of €29 million (£24 million/$31.6 million) for the former Barcelona defender.

Al-Nassr, a Saudi Pro League team, reportedly made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Royal during the January transfer window. Due to Spurs’ injury problems this season, Royal has been forced to start at every position in Ange Postecoglou’s back line, however he has mostly had to make due with a bench spot in recent weeks.

Tottenham will likely have a busy summer transfer window because Postecoglou has to bolster his team in preparation for the extra demands of playing in Europe. Even though Royal has offered helpful depth and versatility this season, Spurs would probably welcome the chance to acquire the defender for a sizable money, which would aid in their summer spending plans. Royal would be reunited with former Spurs colleagues Eric Dier and Harry Kan if he moved to Bayern.
