JUST IN: Chicago Bears CEO Kevin Warren and Chairman George H. McCaskey Address Media on Newly Signed QB
Chicago, IL – April 4, 2025 – Chicago Bears CEO Kevin Warren and Chairman George H. McCaskey met with the media earlier today to discuss the team’s newest quarterback signing, veteran Case Keenum. The move comes as the Bears continue to solidify their roster heading into the 2025 season.
“Case brings leadership, experience, and a winning mentality to our locker room,” Warren stated. “His presence will be invaluable as we continue to build a championship-caliber team.”
Keenum, an 11-year NFL veteran, signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Bears earlier this week. He is expected to serve as a mentor for first-overall draft pick Caleb Williams, helping the young quarterback adjust to the professional level.
McCaskey echoed Warren’s enthusiasm. “We believe Case’s experience in various offensive systems will be a tremendous asset to our young core. His ability to guide Caleb and push the quarterback room to be its best is exactly what we need.”
Bears fans have eagerly speculated on Keenum’s role, with many wondering if he could see playing time or primarily serve as a mentor. Head coach Matt Eberflus is expected to provide further insight during the team’s upcoming minicamp.
With the addition of Keenum, the Bears’ quarterback room now includes Caleb Williams, Tyson Bagent, and P.J. Walker, ensuring competition and depth at the position.
