
In a strategic move to bolster their offensive line and support quarterback Drake Maye, the New England Patriots’ de facto General Manager, Eliot Wolf, has announced that LSU’s standout left tackle, Will Campbell, is among the top prospects under consideration for their fourth overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Will Campbell has been a cornerstone of LSU’s offensive line, starting all 38 games during his collegiate career. His exceptional performance earned him consensus All-America honors in 2024, making him the first LSU offensive lineman to receive such recognition since 2004. Campbell’s accolades also include being a two-time first-team All-SEC selection and co-recipient of the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the conference’s top offensive lineman.
Despite concerns regarding his arm length potentially affecting his position at the professional level, the Patriots reportedly view Campbell as a viable offensive tackle.
