Brazilian superstar Neymar has been impressed by one Arsenal player as the club begins pre-season training in the United States.

Mikel Arteta flew a young group to the United States on Sunday, ready to face three Premier League opponents before the new season begins.

Of course, the Arsenal manager was missing most of the players that competed in the Euros and Copa America, including Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice.

However, in their absence, there is an opportunity for some peripheral players to assert their claim, comparable to the opportunity that certain young players in the United States will have.

In that regard, many would expect Jurrien Timber to shine despite missing nearly the whole first season due to injury in north London.

Arteta has been extremely enthusiastic about Timber, who he will most likely rely on as a regular starter in the coming months.

Then there’s players like Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Jesus, who were once undisputed starters for Arteta.

Both appear to be out of the manager’s strongest eleven, which they will insist on revising.

Neymar was quite impressed with Arsenal attacker Gabriel Jesus in the United States.
Smith Rowe’s future with Arsenal appears to be uncertain at the moment, with Crystal Palace and Fulham expressing interest.

However, there is no doubt about Brazilian attacker Jesus.

Jesus has returned to Arsenal in great shape in pre-season, and despite losing his starting role to Kai Havertz, he has no plans to leave the club.

Instead, the former Manchester City player appears motivated to prove himself, aiming to be available on a more consistent basis this season.

Having said that, Arsenal posted a montage of Jesus’ shooting drills from one of the early sessions in the United States on Instagram.

And, despite not playing for Brazil at the Copa America due to injury rather than selection, Al-Hilal forward Neymar was quite impressed.

Neymar responded to the aforementioned video with two flame emojis, delighted to watch his teammate thrive.
