Chelsea
Not only Felix: 8/10 Chelsea star is demonstrating he can be unstoppable.
Chelsea’s recent UEFA Conference League match saw them thrash FC Noah 8-0 at Stamford Bridge.
In this goal-filled encounter, the Blues had 58% possession, took 31 shots (18 of which were on goal), created 11 great chances, and generated 5.80 xG.
Tosin Adarabioyo began the scoring, and Marc Guiu made it two less than a minute later. Axel Disasi made it three with a headed finish, and Joao Felix added two more, including an incredible gem from Mykhailo Mudryk, to put Chelsea ahead 6-0 at halftime.
The hosts added two more before the game’s end, with Christopher Nkunku scoring both, bringing his season total to 10 goals in only 16 games and 686 minutes played.
But it was Felix’s man-of-the-match performance that grabbed the headlines, as he not only scored twice but also graced Stamford Bridge with his typical tricks and flicks.
Joao Felix’s performance in figures
The 24-year-old forward has found himself on the fringes of Chelsea’s squad, starting in cup competitions and coming off the bench in Premier League games. He has made ten appearances for the Blues, scoring five goals and assisting one.

Felix was Chelsea’s creative force on Thursday night, taking over Cole Palmer’s playmaking duties, completing five of his eight long passes, two critical passes, seven shots, five of his seven dribbles, and, of course, scoring two goals.
But what the Portuguese did off the ball was equally impressive, ghosting between the lines to receive passes and frequently being the out ball for Chelsea defenders, while also tracking back, working hard, and winning six of his nine ground duels, demonstrating his willingness to fight for his teammates and regain possession.
Nonetheless, Mudryk’s performance, as the outcast and scapegoat, piqued the interest of many.
Mykhailo Mudryk’s performance by numbers
The 23-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Blues in all competitions this season, and his magnificent goal last night brings his total to two goals and five assists in 738 minutes.
The winger, like Nkunku, has found himself on the outside of the Premier League club, starting in cup tournaments but coming off the bench in regular games. It’s not surprising given his results under Mauricio Pochettino, and Andy Jacobs of talkSPORT described him as “useless” early in Maresca’s rule.
As a result, his performance against European minnows Noah clearly demonstrated how much he has developed under their new Italian boss to date.
Football.London gave the Ukrainian speedster an 8/10 match rating, citing his ‘genuinely unstoppable’ effort, which was perhaps the finest goal of the game. That takes some doing in a game where the back of the net is rocked eight times.

Mudryk clearly sparkled, making as many as four vital passes in the game, and deserved to be awarded with an assist to accompany his goal.
However, the Ukraine international managed two successful dribbles out of four tries and won three of his six ground duels, both of which Chelsea fans expect him to develop and give consistency in.
With Jadon Sancho out due to injury, the former Shakhtar player will try to get into the Premier League side for more minutes, with only Pedro Neto ahead of him on the left wing.
Neto might go to the right side, replacing Noni Madueke, in order to face Arsenal on Sunday.
