Premier League title to eventually go to Arsenal, but don’t count out Manchester City and Liverpool, as Rasmus Hojlund may challenge Erling Haaland for the Golden Boot.
The Premier League is back and the preseason is officially over.
With Germany hosting Euro 2024, it has been a long summer. We won’t discuss the outcome, though.

However, the Premier League is underway as Man City attempts to capture a record-tying fifth consecutive championship.
Although Pep Guardiola’s team has won five of the last six games, they still have competition to be concerned about.
Over the past two seasons, Arsenal has kept them close and added strength with the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori.
Under new manager Arne Slot, Liverpool has been quietly impressing in preseason, and Manchester United has also made significant spending commitments.
We’ve asked the talkSPORT analysts to share their predictions for the upcoming Premier League season when the league returns.
Who takes home the trophy?
Pennant, Jermaine – Arsenal
“I’m going with Arsenal instead of Manchester City for the sixth straight season; I wouldn’t say it’s controversial.
“They are growing older. Every season, as he ages, Kevin De Bruyne will begin to fall down a cliff.
“Kyle Walker’s career will eventually reach a stage where he starts to lose some speed. Genetics is all that matters. It exists. You are not going to be 38 or 39 years old and still be as quick as you were at your best.
“They may have dominated and won a lot, but they just lost to Alvarez. It would be a huge loss to lose him.
It’s fantastic business, and it’s a lot of money, too. But there would be no [Julian] Alvarez if Haaland were hurt.
