With Celtic returning to action next week, the transfer speculation mill continues to churn.
With Celtic returning to action next week, the transfer speculation mill continues to churn.
Already this summer, the Bhoys have been linked with a slew of names as Brendan Rodgers seeks to enhance his squad for the upcoming season, the most recent being Edmund Baidoo.
According to Sports World Ghana, Celtic, along with Leeds United, Brighton, and Club Brugge, are interested in the adolescent phenomenon.
Baidoo, who joined Norwegian second-tier club Sogndal IL in March, has eight goals and six assists in 17 games.
The 18-year-old is on fire, but if brought in, he will most certainly be a long-term option.
Links to Baidoo indicate that the champions are continuously on the lookout for excellent young talent; a recent story suggesting that the club is in talks to sign Middlesbrough star Ajay Matthews supports this.
Brendan Rodgers, Parkhead’s manager, is well-known for nurturing young players and giving them opportunities to succeed.
Perhaps Baidoo and Matthews will be the next players the gaffer helps develop.
