Staggies manager Don Cowie has paid respect to the departing trio.

Ross County have confirmed that four players will leave Victoria Park after their contracts expire this summer.

Jordan Tillson, Adam Mackinnon, and Matthew Wright will leave the club, joining Yan Dhanda, who signed a pre-contract with Premiership rivals Hearts earlier this year.

The Stags have yet to provide an update on four more players who are out of contract: Josh Sims, George Harmon, Ross Callachan, and Michee Efete.

Dhanda was instrumental in ensuring the Staggies’ survival, scoring three goals in his final four games for the club.

The attacking midfielder, who arrived from Swansea City in 2022, scored 11 goals in his two seasons with the Staggies.

Tillson, an English midfielder, was among County’s longest-serving players, having made 100 appearances since joining from Exeter City in January 2020.

Tillson spent the season on loan at Dundee United, where he helped the club win the Championship title.

County manager Don Cowie stated, “Yan has been an integral part of our football club over the last two seasons.” A fan-favorite player.

“We wish him and his family all the best in their relocation to Hearts and look forward to seeing him back to the Global Energy Stadium next season.

“Jordan has been a tremendous servant.
His recent loan periods will serve him well in the future, with his time at Arbroath being a particularly beneficial decision, since he played consistently in the Scottish Championship.

“We wish Adam all the very best in the next chapter of his career.”

The Staggies have also verified that Will Nightingale, George Wickens, Loick Ayina, Teddy Jenks, Eli King, Brandon Khela, and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have returned to their parent clubs.

Cowie added: “On behalf of the club, I’d like to congratulate everyone of the loan players for their important contributions both on and off the pitch in securing Premiership football for next season.
