Setback For AC Milan As Two Star Midfielders Theo Hernandez And Tijjani Reijnders Will Not Be Part Of Today’s Game
AC Milan has been dealt a significant blow ahead of their crucial Serie A fixture against Udinese, with both Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders ruled out of the match due to suspensions.
Theo Hernandez is serving a two-match ban following his red card in the recent defeat to Fiorentina, where he was sent off for dissent. Tijjani Reijnders, meanwhile, was shown a red card for a last-man foul during a previous outing against Udinese. Both players were initially expected to serve their suspensions during a postponed match against Bologna. However, with that fixture delayed, the bans now apply to today’s game.
Their absence leaves a notable gap in AC Milan’s lineup, particularly in defense and midfield. Head coach Paulo Fonseca is expected to make adjustments to cover the losses. Filippo Terracciano is likely to step in at left-back for Hernandez, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek could partner Youssouf Fofana in midfield to fill the void left by Reijnders.
With Milan pushing to stay in contention for the Serie A title, the team will need to show resilience and depth to overcome this challenge. All eyes will be on how the Rossoneri adapt without two of their most influential players.
