According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Chelsea and Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise have agreed on personal terms and will now negotiate arranging payments for his release clause.

The French youth international had an amazing 2023/2024 season with the Eagles and is now garnering interest from a number of clubs. With a release clause in his contract, it could be difficult for Oliver Glasner’s team to keep him during the summer transfer window.

According to sources, Chelsea has verbally agreed to personal terms with Olise, following a similar agreement last summer. It is understood that Chelsea is now in talks with Crystal Palace about scheduling payments for his release clause as they work to clinch his signing.

It is still possible that another team will enter the competition and outbid Chelsea for Olise, with Manchester United still interested, and the Red Devils may make an offer for the Palace star. A deal isn’t finalized just yet, but it’s a significant step forward for the west London club as they seek to lure Olise to Stamford Bridge.

Nothing has been legally signed by Olise, who has been characterized as’sensational’, or Chelsea, but the two parties have reached an understanding verbally.
