Chelsea’s next five Premier League fixtures compared to Tottenham, Manchester United, and Aston Villa

The most recent Chelsea news and fixtures following the international break in September as football.London compares Tottenham, Manchester United, and Aston Villa’s future prospects.

Following the international break in September, Chelsea will look to win again this weekend against Bournemouth. The Blues lost their Conference League second leg play-off to Servette but advanced on aggregate, before losing points to Crystal Palace just a few days later.

Chelsea has four points from their three league games and will be hoping to increase that total significantly before the next two-week break. Rotation appears to be on the cards in the coming weeks, with the Blues also having to play Carabao Cup matches and their first few European fixtures.

Enzo Maresca has been fortunate in that none of his players have suffered serious injuries during the most recent international break. However, Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto returned to Cobham immediately after serving in England and France, respectively, though Palmer has since been spotted training.

Despite this, given the upcoming intense schedule, Maresca may choose to reduce his workload even further in order to avoid injury, especially since many players appear capable of taking his place. Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Manchester United have all suffered defeats this season, with the Blues hoping to put together a winning streak.

The verdict of football.london
Chelsea’s next five games appear to be anything but simple. Bournemouth have yet to lose in the league this season and have looked very promising in attack even without Dominic Solanke. The stunning comeback against Everton will have given them plenty of confidence, especially with Antoine Semenyo taking over as the club’s new talisman.

Following that, the Blues travel across London to face West Ham. Julen Lopetegui’s side has had a mixed start and will be looking for a marquee win at home. Chelsea will then play back-to-back league home games against Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

Maximum points should be required there. Following the October international break, Chelsea will return to action against Liverpool at Anfield, which is expected to be a difficult match.
