Karl Hein, what position do you play?
Hein is a goalie and has never played in another position.

How excellent is Karl Hein?
Hein began his youth career with JK Loo when he was eight years old, before joining Nomme United’s youth team in 2015. After five senior games in Estonia’s third tier, he joined Arsenal’s academy in May 2018 and signed.

He made his Arsenal debut as an unused substitute in a Europa League game against Dundalk in October 2020. Following a successful pre-season in 2021, he signed a long-term contract with the club and made his first-team debut in the EFL Cup against Brighton in 2022, although he was eventually unable to establish a place at the Emirates.

Hein was loaned to Reading for the second part of the 2021-22 season, gaining crucial experience before returning to Arsenal.

Indeed, he departed Arsenal this summer to sign a season-long loan with Real Valladolid. He had an instant impact, helping the squad keep a clean sheet and win 1-0 over Espanyol in their first encounter.

Furthermore, he holds the second-highest value of goals prevented, with a difference of 2.8 between actual and expected saves (or xSaves) in that same match against Villarrea
