A possible hearing date for Manchester City’s 115 allegations of Financial Fair Play and Profit and Sustainability decisions has been disclosed.

The current Premier League champions are said to have done so during a nine-year period, though it is unclear what sort of punishment Pep Guardiola’s team will get.

The hearing will take place in the “near future,” according to Richard Masters, who made this announcement back in April without giving any other information.

Football Insider reports that the case may have an impact on the 2024–2025 Premier League season and is scheduled for hearing in October.

Many fans have started to question why the English regulating authorities are taking so long to issue a decision due to the intricacy of the case.

Only two teams—Everton and Nottingham Forest—have already received sanctions for their infractions; other teams have received warnings.

This season, Forest has been fined four points, while the Toffees have lost eight.

In a statement at the time, City stated: “The club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.” City has consistently denied the charges since their unexpected emergence in February 2023.

“As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.”

In November 2023, City manager Pep Guardiola urged patience during a press conference, stressing that nothing is official until the hearing is concluded. “You ask questions as though we’ve received punishment.

“Until our guilt is established, we are innocent right now. I am aware that many desire it. I am aware that the sentence has been completed; we will come here and clarify.
