Breaking news; Celtic demands FOR three strikers, Bojan Miovski could be Oh’s successor

The transfer window opens today. If we lose Oh, as looks inevitable, we must go all in for Miovski. Celtic should include three forwards in their roster.

It appears that we could be losing the services of Hyeongyu. Oh, very soon! Belgian side KRC Gent is apparently very interested in signing the South Korean international as soon as the transfer window opens, which is today!

Any transfer appears to be permanent, with the more rational loan option not even being considered. However, Celtic will include add-ons such as a sell-on clause in the deal for the Korean striker.

The fee is expected to be about £4.2 million, which represents a significant profit over the £2.5 million the club paid for the forward in January 2023, during Ange Postecoglou’s final transfer window.

Not a large number, but nevertheless a profit of £1.7 million, with possibly more to come for our third choice striker during the last four months. All of that money, plus a bit extra, will undoubtedly be used to replace the South Korean.

With Adam Idah back at Norwich, Kyogo would be the only experienced forward on our squad. So, if Oh does leave, we must sign a striker to replace him.

Everyone’s favored pick is Adam Idah, which is understandable, but with his future at Norwich still uncertain, we can’t wait to find out, and we absolutely need three strikers at the club.

The man for me is Bojan Miovski. The Aberdeen striker would cost between £5 and £6 million, which represents excellent value given what you can expect from the North Macedonian international.

He’s good in the air, has the ball at his feet, and, most importantly, can score goals. He also understands what our game is about, so it’s a no brainer.
