The Club can announce that captain Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young will be presented with new one-year contracts before to Sunday’s 2024–25 Premier League season finale against Arsenal. Additionally, an option to extend Idrissa Gana Gueye’s contract to the end of June 2025 has been exercised.

At the end of the next month, senior players Andy Lonergan and Andre Gomes will depart the Blues when their present contracts expire.

After their season-long loans are up, Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma will return to Leeds United and Villarreal, respectively. After Leeds’ current Championship play-off campaign concludes, Everton and the Yorkshire club will continue to discuss Harrison’s future.

Dele’s contract, which expires next month, will stay with the Club during his rigorous recovery from a long-term groin ailment that he has been receiving treatment for away from Merseyside.

“Everyone at the Club thanks Andre and Andy for their service and contribution to Everton,” stated Kevin Thelwell, director of football at Everton.

“Andre, who joined us from Barcelona in 2018, fully embraced the Everton values and was a beloved player among our supporters.” Andy gave our excellent set of goalkeepers invaluable experience. We hope the best for them in the future as they have both been cherished members of our ranks.

We also acknowledge the contributions that Arnaut and Jack have made to our Men’s Senior Team’s success this season under Sean and his coaching team. In the upcoming weeks, we will keep talking about Jack’s future with Leeds.

“Our medical team will continue to support Dele while he completes the intensive rehabilitation programme he is currently undergoing following the operation he had earlier this year,” Thelwell continued in regards to Dele. “Dele’s contract is coming to an end.” Sean and I concur that it’s necessary to make sure Dele’s contract predicament doesn’t interfere with his rehabilitation at this crucial juncture in his recuperation.
