Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, said that he is “flattered” by the interest shown in him after he was purportedly declared the favorite to succeed Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. After the next FA Cup final against Manchester City, the club’s new minority stakeholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe may make a managerial move. The present head coach at Old Trafford is under growing pressure.

Frank, despite the impending Manchester derby cup final, has reportedly emerged as a strong candidate to succeed Ten Hag should the Dutchman lose his job at United, according to The Telegraph.

Frank is rumored to be Ten Hag’s replacement after the Red Devils, who are now in ninth position in the Premier League standings, might potentially miss out on playing in Europe next season.

Although acknowledging that he is happy that his efforts at Brentford are being acknowledged, the Dane has downplayed rumors that associate him with the top United position.
