BREAKING NEWS; If Tottenham gives Arsenal a major title favor in their Premier League matchup with Manchester City, Mesut Ozil has sworn never to make fun of them again.

Theo Walcott, Zil’s former Arsenal teammate, had similar feelings and backed Tottenham for the important match.

Ozil has occasionally taken jabs at Tottenham. The most recent one was in December after they lost to West Ham and became the first side in Premier League history to lose five straight games after leading 1-0 in each of those games.

Tottenham will be playing for pride in this game because, after a thrilling 3–3 draw between Aston Villa and Liverpool, they still have a remote chance of making it into the Champions League. Therefore, Ozil, a former playmaker for Arsenal who has made fun of Tottenham on a frequent basis over the years, has challenged Spurs to overcome the odds and come out on top against a rampaging City.
