Farhad Moshiri, the owner of Everton, called it “amazing” that 777 Partners’ denial to acknowledge the “red flags” surrounding the US-based company.

According to financial analyst Kieran Maguire, who spoke with Football Insider exclusively, it appears that a “parting of the ways” is imminent in light of recent findings.

According to the BBC on May 14, Premier League president Richard Masters has said that 777 has been given restrictions that they must fulfill in order for their takeover to be authorized.

Eight months ago, in September of last year, the Miami-based investment company and Moshiri came to an agreement to purchase Everton.

Since then, allegations have surfaced about Standard Liege, one of 777’s other teams, where players are allegedly not paid.

The group’s airline, Bonza, has also gone into voluntary administration, and 777 is facing a fraud action in New York.

In the upcoming days and weeks, Maguire predicted Evertonians will be glad if the takeover attempt fails.

“The news from Standard Liege regarding the potential late payment of wages, combined with Bonza Airlines going into administration and lawsuits from financers – it’s just red flags on red flags,” he said to Sean Fisher of Football Insider.
