Chelsea think their ‘unlucky’ player is a genuine option to play striker as a Nicolas Jackson replacement.
Chelsea think they already have someone in the squad who can play as the central striker next season and compete with Nicolas Jackson.
According to the different transfer reports in the media, the Blues are interested in bringing a new frontman to Stamford Bridge during the summer window.
Nicolas Jackson, 23, is the only true first-team striker in the club heading into next season. Of course, that ignores Romelu Lukaku and Armando Broja, who are also expected to go.

While Chelsea has been associated with a variety of strikers, it is now stated that one of their players is a viable candidate to lead the line.
Chelsea’s 26-year-old striker option.
According to journalist Simon Phillips of Substack, Chelsea consider Christopher Nkunku a ‘real striker option’.
It is thought that the Blues believe he can lead the line as a No. 9 if necessary.
Chelsea appears to believe that the ideal established centre-forward is not currently available in the summer transfer window. It is why they have been looking at strikers based on availability/price, and they do not want to impede Jackson’s progress.
Christopher Nkunku should be in the XI.
Chelsea supporters did not get to witness the genuine Nkunku last season due to injury, as he played only 14 games across all competitions in a difficult debut year.
However, the versatile attacker is plenty of talent and deserves a regular berth in the starting lineup. Where should it be, though?
The Chelsea Chronicle like Nkunku to play as a second striker, whether in a No. 10 pocket or as an inverted left winger.
Finally, he should be able to add some additional firepower to his onslaught. He previously scored 70 goals in 172 games with RB Leipzig.
