Everton ‘confident’ in James Garner deal as Tottenham swoops – sources

The former Manchester United star’s current contract expires in June 2026, but Everton and manager Sean Dyche want to reward his success with an extension.

Two years ago, the Toffees paid Manchester United a record £15 million to sign Garner after he impressed on loan with Nottingham Forest.

He was one of Dyche’s most important first-team players in the 2023-24 season, with just James Tarkowski, Jordan Pickford, and Jarrad Branthwaite getting more minutes.
