Everton are hoping to finalise a deal to sign Armando Broja this summer.

According to talkSPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs, the Toffees are negotiating a £30 million move for the Chelsea forward as they want to strengthen their offensive options

Chelsea is reportedly holding out for a deal worth around £35 million.

Sean Dyche’s side is hoping for a rapid breakthrough as they prepare to begin their summer transfer plans.

This comes after veteran Everton fans AJ Bell and George Downing made an offer worth hundreds of millions of pounds to take over their boyhood club.

The Toffees will compete with AC Milan, Monaco, Wolves, Crystal Palace, and Bologna.

Broja, a product of Chelsea’s youth academy, has risen through the ranks since joining the club when he was eight.

Following a season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem, the Albanian striker scored nine goals during a loan spell with Southampton before returning to Stamford Bridge to compete for a first-team spot.

However, the 22-year-old has only scored three goals in 38 outings for Chelsea, with injuries thwarting his chances of establishing himself.

Broja was loaned to London rivals Fulham in the January transfer window, however he only made eight appearances for the club, all of which came from the bench.

The striker, eager to start his career, could get his chance to establish himself with Chelsea looking to move him at the appropriate price.

While Everton are eager to conclude the transaction quickly, Broja will want to keep his attention on Albania’s Euro 2024 campaign.
