According to speculations, former manager of Manchester United and Roma Jose Mourinho may soon be getting his first football position outside of the dugout.

During his two and a half seasons at Stadio Olimpico, the 61-year-old Portuguese manager guided the team to a Europa Conference League championship.

At the time of his dismissal, Mourinho—who led Roma to a Europa League final in the 2022–2023 season—was replaced by Daniele De Rossi, a legendary player for Roma.

The former Manchester United head coach has ruled out ending his illustrious coaching career after leaving the Stadio Olimpico.

Mourinho has expressed his intention to return to management in the future and had even said what he would look for in his next workplace.

Tips for Mourinho’s next position

Since being fired by Roma, Jose Mourinho has drawn interest from all around the world. Clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey have made proposals to him.

The former manager of Chelsea and Manchester United have surfaced as a contender for a Saudi Pro League team.

While one Turkish club, where Mourinho had previously signed for United, was said to be considering a reunion, another Super Lig team was prepared to pay his compensation demands.

But according to Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, Mourinho’s return to management would not include a trip to Turkey.
