Chelsea attacker Aggie Beever-Jones has won her first senior England call-up ahead of the Lionesses’ upcoming EURO 2025 qualifiers.

The 20-year-old has experienced a remarkable individual year with the Blues, scoring 11 goals in 15 Women’s Super League (WSL) games this term. Although she has long been a member of England’s Under-23 team, Sarina Wiegman has included her in her 24-man roster for the Lionesses’ doubleheader matches against France in May and June, as well as their qualifying matches against Sweden and the Republic of Ireland in July.

Wiegman stated on Tuesday, “Aggie has had a very good improvement, she is doing really well.” She is a frank individual. She wants to improve on the field each and every day.”

Millie Bright, a defender for Chelsea, was also called up for the first time since October, following a five-month absence due to a knee injury. “She and I are both quite delighted. After a protracted period of injury, she has resumed paying,” Wiegman stated.
