Jarrod Bowen: Newcastle’s three-man recruitment plan disclosed by top source.

Jarrod Bowen has been added to Newcastle United’s three-man shortlist of potential right-wing acquisitions for the summer, according to Football Insider.

On the current episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior writer Pete O’Rourke revealed that the West Ham player is joined on the list by Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams and Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville.

Eddie Howe is thought to be looking for a new right winger, striker, and central defender before the transfer window reopens.

The Newcastle manager appears to have already gotten his wish in terms of bringing in a new centre-back, with Football Insider reporting on June 7 that a deal has been reached to sign Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer from Bournemouth.

However, O’Rourke stated that deals for Bowen, 27, Williams, 21, and Summerville, 22, may be more difficult to complete since the attacking trio may be priced out of the Tynesiders’ reach due to profit and sustainability (PSR) difficulties.

Bowen is under contract until 2030, Williams’ contract expires in 2027, and Summerville is with Leeds until 2026.

Jarrod Bowen heads Newcastle’s list of summer objectives.
Despite scoring 85 goals in the Premier League last season, Howe is looking to strengthen his attacking lineup.

Newcastle’s finances are likely to influence what business they can afford to conduct, with Football Insider recently revealing that they will need to sell one of their stars this summer in order to comply with Premier League spending regulations.
