Olise accepts new contract with Chelsea

Richard Olise has agreed to a new one-year contract with Chelsea, with an option for an additional year, the club is happy to announce.

Olise is a right-sided defender who joined the Blues as an Under-9 and has advanced through our Cobham Academy. He is calm and collected.

He debuted with the Under-18s in the 2021–2022 season, and he played in 16 games the previous year, including a matchup with Juventus in the UEFA Youth League.

The 19-year-old moved up to our Under-21 team this season and has played 10 games for Mark Robinson’s team, including three in the Premier League 2 playoffs.
